The Science Museum of Western Virginia announces Fall Science Discovery Classes for Homeschoolers. All classes are open to elementary-aged home schooled children. Each class will include class time and take home items/activities. The maximum class size is 12. Elementary classes meet from 1-2pm; upper elementary classes meet 2:30-3:30pm.
1 October: Field trip to Apple Ridge Farm
15 October--Earthworm Science
5 November--Insect Science
19 November--Spider Science
Accessibility: The Science Museum faces a lack of space, and to be able to offer homeschool and other programs, the Science Museum is developing a new education space that is accessible only by a flight of stairs. Please call 540/857.4381 if you or your student need special accommodation.

Price per child starts at $20 per class, with discounts for members or if registering for multiple classes in advance. Pre-registration is required by the Friday before the day of the class. No refunds.
